Barwell, D. June 7th - 27 in a series The Missing Link. I started writing these articles to bring focus on the BIG picture of brain function that was being passed over with the Chiropractic groups presenting on functional neurology. The research done over the last 50 to 60 years on the role of brain wave patterns and their relationship to health has been completely ignored by the diplomate groups. That is one issue I have with the diplomate programs; another is the lack of consideration into the role stress plays in the creation of challenges to neurological stability.
The Neuroinfiniti Stress Response Evaluation
From Stressed Out to Relaxed and Coping
People understand low back pain. They understand neck pain. Yet most are left needing a leap of faith to cross the chasm that exists between these things they understand and the promise of what else Chiropractic offers. If you want the public to understand the damaging effects physical, chemical, and emotional stress can have on their health — on their function — measure it and show them. Function and health go hand and hand. If you talk about one, you talk about the other.

Signed in as:. What is the primary focus of Chiropractic? If you are like most chiropractors you will probably say the nervous system. And, like most, you stress the importance of the nervous system with your patients. Yet if we are going to be honest, you have never really had an effective method to quickly and clearly demonstrate for your patients how their nervous system is functioning, how it responds to stress, if it recovers from stress, and most importantly, how it responds to your care. You do now. The technical answer? If the first question that pops into your head is "Why? It is fairly typical for a doctor's first reaction to be something along the lines of, "That's neat, but I don't see how it fits in a chiropractic office. So what is the NeuroInfiniti doing in a chiropractic office?
The NeuroInfiniti Stress Response Evaluation is an effective and accurate method of measuring your physiological stress response. It is a computerized test, a totally non-invasive exam using an instrument found in research facilities around the world. Sensors are attached to your skin in such areas as your shoulder muscles, the top of your head, your ears, and your hands as well as your waist. From this 20 minute computerized test, we can compare your neurological response and recovery to stress challenges. Brain Waves — This portion of the exam concerns the ability of the brain to be busy when necessary and to rest when necessary. Heart Rate Variability — is an effective method of measuring stress effects in your life. Research has established that HRV is also a good method of measuring the effectiveness of Chiropractic care.
