Dua legit deserves a Nobel Prize for saving millions of dickmatised people from contacting their ex's with this chorus. I mean, almost every lyric on Melodrama could have made this list but this one in particular catches Lorde's genius in all it's full poetic and unique light. This lyric taught us two things. Firstly, you can take DNA tests for being a bitch and, secondly, you should never fuck with Lizzo. The empowerment anthem of Cardi B is the motivational speaker we didn't even know we needed.
And of course, if there was a week in which sales and streams or just general excitement seemed to be lagging, the pop machine reverted to a tried-and-true formula established as a sure shot back in ' Just throw Justin Bieber on it.
